Daniel Mulieri was born in Pembroke Pines Florida and later moved to Medellin Colombia where he was raised for most of his childhood. He later moved back to Florida and attended St. Thomas University where he acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies with a Minor in Political Science.
Daniel is currently the Legislative Director for the State Attorney’s Office of Broward County. Daniel’s experience was as a Community Outreach Representative for two Florida Members of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives. Some of the main functions included but were not limited to, engaging with the various organizations, municipalities, and elected officials, handling immigration and FEMA matters. He worked for the U.S. House of Representatives from 2017 - 2022 for the late Congressman Alcee L. Hastings and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz where he enjoyed his job immensely.
Daniel always wanted to serve his community. He began his philanthropic work in his teenage years and has served in numerous roles for various organizations. Daniel led efforts to increase Hispanic and Millennials’ participation in the political process in many states of the USA. For several years, he worked with Broward County’s homeless population, overseeing their housing and transportation. He has lobbied in Tallahassee, advocating for policies that help the community.
The organizations where he has volunteered are Young Democrats of America Hispanic Caucus - Southeast U.S. Regional Director, Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida - South Florida Regional Director, Broward County Democratic Hispanic Caucus – President, The Plantation Democratic Club - Secretary and Board Member, Broward Democratic Hispanic Caucus – President, and Rotary Club of Coral Springs Parkland - President. Daniel was appointed as a Board Member of the Broward County Homeless Advisory Board and was a Florida Delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in 2016, and Chicago in 2024.
Daniel continues his noble work as the Corresponding Secretary of the Broward Democratic Party, the Vice Chairman of the Broward County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the National Vice Chairman for the Young Democrats of America Jewish Caucus, the Community Relations Council for the Jewish Federation of Broward County, and the Secretary of the Jacksonville Mexican Chamber of Commerce. He genuinely continues to work in the community and is a voice for the voiceless.
Daniel is working hard at the Mexican Foundation of Florida as the Chief Operations Officer because he loves Mexico, the people, the wide variety of cultural diversity, the culinary diversification, the amicability of its people, and advocates for the Mexican community.
